This week I’ve knitted and sent a blue square after reading this on whip up:
”Knit a River is a project started by a group in the UK that hopes to raise awareness of the millions of people around the world who live without toilets and clean water. The Knit people are asking that supporters knit a 15 cmx15cm square in blue yarn and mail it to them. They will attach all of the squares to create a knitted river which will serve as a petition.”

The colour for Project Spectrum in June is blue. I rarely use blue when I make something. But when I think of the colour blue, I remember all sorts of beautiful things. I love the light shining through blue glass, and the blue hour at dawn is my favourite time. I like blue flowers, the blue ocean and the blue sky. I feel that the colour blue is a soothing colour for the soul :-)
